For latinos its common to usually have two last names that are hyphenated. Since alejandros canon last name is just one last name despite being two seperate words just mashed togheter I wanted to add something common w latinos into his character.

Alejandro Burro-Muerto. Then i wanted to give him actual latino surnames that were common. As a reference to his orginal initials (B-M) i decided to stick with those starter letters.

Beas-Mejia.

So Alejandro Burromuerto -> Alejandro Burro-Muerto -> Alejandro Beas-Mejia.

Mejia is a common latino last name thats a reference to messiah and jesus.

Beas is a last name most popular is mexico (mexican alejandro hc)

It does not have an exact meaning unlike Mejia but it is also a reference to a town in huelva.

However beas can also mean busy as a bee

So his first last name is a reference to how busy his family always is + latino/mexican heritage. Then his second last name is a reference to jesus/messiahs as latinos are commonly religous but also with how he carries himself within total drama and his roles in his seasons.

i need to go more into why i picked mejia as it just screams his family with how important they view and carry themselves from their looks to skills and even having a family crest.
